Tray - Pill & Vitamin Reminder · Effective 16 September 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Ben Basha (the "developer", "we"), and cover the Tray mobile app and this website. By installing or using Tray you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Tray on devices you own or control, under the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law says you may regardless of this clause.

3. Not medical advice

• Tray records and reminds you about what you enter. It does not verify it.
• Tray does not detect drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, duplicate doses or incorrect strengths, and does not warn you about them.
• Nothing in Tray is a diagnosis, a prescription or a recommendation to start, stop or change anything you take.
• Never delay or avoid speaking to a qualified professional because of something you saw, or did not see, in Tray. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

4. Reminders are best effort

Tray schedules reminders through your device's operating system, and it does everything it reasonably can to make them arrive - follow-ups until the routine's window closes, and rescheduling after a restart. It cannot guarantee delivery. A reminder can be delayed, silenced or lost because of battery savers, Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, notification permissions being off, aggressive background restrictions on some Android manufacturers, a device that is switched off, out of storage, or an operating system update.

Do not rely on Tray alone for anything where a missed dose is dangerous. You are responsible for taking what you need to take.

5. Your data

Your pills, schedule, notes and history are stored on your device, not on our servers. We cannot see them, recover them or restore them. If you delete the app, lose the device or do not keep a backup, that data is gone. Export your history to CSV, or - with Tray Pro - to a backup file, if it matters to you. 6. Purchases

• All reminder features are free, with no cap and no time limit.
• Tray Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase: inventory and refill reminders, extra profiles, medium and Lock Screen widgets, backup and restore, and extra pill shapes and colours. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
• The purchase is made through Apple's App Store or Google Play, under their terms. They handle the payment; we never see your payment details.
• Refunds are handled by the store, not by us - Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through the Play Store. Statutory rights to a refund in your country are unaffected.
• Tray Pro is tied to the store account that bought it. "Restore Purchases", on the paywall and in Settings, brings it back on a new device or after a reinstall.
• Prices may change for future buyers. Nobody is charged again for something already bought.

7. Acceptable use

Use Tray for your own medication and supplement reminders, or for someone in your care with their knowledge. Do not use it to break the law, and do not attempt to interfere with the app, the app stores or this website.

8. Availability and changes

We may update Tray, change or remove features, or stop distributing it. Updates come through the app stores. If a paid feature is removed permanently, we will say so in the release notes. We are not obliged to keep any particular feature forever.

9. Warranty disclaimer

Tray is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, in which case this clause applies to the maximum extent permitted there.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for any harm arising from a missed, late or duplicated dose, or from reliance on a reminder that did not arrive. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Tray in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where the law does not permit that limitation.

11. Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for Tray or its support. Where Apple's standard end-user licence terms apply, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them. Any claim relating to the app is directed to the developer, not to Apple or Google.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction - without removing any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country you live in.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Tray after that date means you accept the new version.
